He achieved national notoriety as a correspondent for Emilio Fede's Tg4 during the Mani Pulite investigation, remaining for years in front of the Milan Courthouse to produce hundreds of historic live broadcasts, an experience recounted in the book Novecento giorni sul marciapiede (1994). Moving to Rai in 1997, he was a regular on Fabio Fazio's Quelli che il calcio and co-host of Domenica In. He participated as a contestant on L'Isola dei Famosi 2019 and Grande Fratello Vip 2020.
