The artist: Raul Cremona

Raul Cremona was born in Milan on November 10, 1956, into a family with a circus tradition. Passionate about illusionism since childhood thanks to his grandfather and great-grandfather, both magicians, in the 1980s he shared the stage of the Derby Club with Paolo Rossi, Claudio Bisio, Aldo and Giovanni, and Enzo Iacchetti. He is the first true Italian exponent of magical cabaret, a genre that combines comedy and illusionism, with characters that have become iconic such as the extremely crude Mago Oronzo, protagonist of Mai dire Gol from 1990 to 2000, and Silvano il Mago di Milano, a parody of Silvan carried out for years on Zelig and Zelig Circus together with Mister Forest. During his career, he also created memorable characters such as the misogynistic Omen and Jacopo Ortis, a theatrical parody of Carmelo Bene. Also active as an actor in TV series and films, including Cado dalle nubi with Checco Zalone, Raul Cremona remains an absolute point of reference for Italian magical cabaret.
