Luis Pérez-Sala Valls-Taberner (Barcelona, May 15, 1959) is a former Spanish racing driver, who competed in Formula 1 in the 1988 and 1989 seasons. After making a name for himself in Formula 3000, where in 1987 he contended for the title with Stefano Modena until the very end, he was signed by Giancarlo Minardi as a full-time driver for 1988, making his Formula 1 debut alongside his compatriot Adrián Campos and then Pierluigi Martini. In two seasons with the Faenza-based team, he earned his only championship point with a sixth-place finish at the 1989 British Grand Prix. After leaving Formula 1, he continued his career in touring car racing, then returned to the paddock in 2012 as team principal of HRT. His signature is a sought-after item by collectors of motorsport memorabilia and enthusiasts of Minardi's history.
