The driver: Philippe Alliot

Philippe Alliot (Voves, July 27, 1954) was a French Formula 1 driver, protagonist of the Circus from 1984 to 1990 and from 1993 to 1994. After progressing through the junior formulas and winning the Formula Renault championship, he debuted in F1 with the Skoal Bandit RAM team, with which he raced the 1984 and 1985 seasons driving the competitive but unlucky Hart-powered single-seaters. During his career, he then wore the colors of Ligier, Larrousse, and McLaren, achieving his best result with a fifth place at the 1993 San Marino Grand Prix. After leaving Formula 1, he found great satisfaction in sports car competitions with Jean Todt's Peugeot team, becoming Sportscar World Champion in 1992 and finishing on the podium three times at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. His signature is a coveted item by collectors of automotive memorabilia.
