The driver: Carlos Sainz Jr.

Carlos Sainz Vázquez de Castro, known as "Carlos Sainz Jr." (Madrid, September 1, 1994), is one of the most talented Spanish drivers of his generation. Son of the legendary Carlos Sainz Sr., two-time World Rally Champion and four-time Dakar winner, he made his Formula 1 debut with Toro Rosso in 2015, then moved to Renault and McLaren before joining Scuderia Ferrari in 2021. His first season in red ended with a brilliant fifth place in the Drivers' Championship thanks to four podiums (second place in Monaco, third in Hungary, Russia, and Abu Dhabi), making him the only driver in 2021 to finish all 22 races of the season. In subsequent seasons, he achieved his first F1 victory at the 2022 British GP in Silverstone, followed by other victories in Singapore 2023, Australia 2024, and Mexico 2024. From 2025, he will race for Williams.
