The jersey reproduced in this work is the same one worn by Arrigo Sacchi's AC Milan in the 1988/1989 season, the season of Berlusconi's first Champions League title, won in Barcelona against Steaua Bucharest with a score of 4-0. Franco Baresi (Travagliato, May 8, 1960), Rossoneri captain since 1982, is the cornerstone of that zonal defense that revolutionized Italian football, capable of combining defensive solidity and build-up play from the back. With Milan, he won six Scudetti, three Champions League titles, and two Intercontinental Cups, remaining with the club for his entire career until his retirement in 1997. His number 6 was retired by the club at the end of his career, a tribute reserved for very few captains in the history of Italian football.
