Roberto Ciufoli was born in Rome on March 1, 1960. After studying at ISEF, he founded the theater company L'Allegra Brigata in 1981, and then in 1986, together with Pino Insegno, Francesca Draghetti, and Tiziana Foschi, created the famous comedy quartet La Premiata Ditta, stars of the cult sitcom Finché c'è ditta c'è speranza and the program Premiata Teleditta. Also active as an actor in successful TV series such as Don Matteo, Distretto di Polizia, and Rocco Schiavone, he also lends his voice as a voice actor to famous characters, including Gollum in The Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King and Marshall in Ice Age 4. In 2005 he participated in the reality show La Talpa, finishing second, while in 2021 he was a castaway in the fifteenth edition of L'Isola dei Famosi. A theater director with numerous shows to his credit, he remains one of the most versatile and beloved comedians and actors in Italian entertainment.
