After a professional journey that began as a model, furniture designer, and gym manager, at 23 he met Christian De Sica, who introduced him to the world of cinema with Uomini uomini uomini (1995). He became a regular in the Christmas genre of Italian comedy, acting in numerous "cinepanettoni" alongside De Sica, including Vacanze di Natale 2000, Natale sul Nilo, and Natale a Beverly Hills. Great television success came with the series Provaci ancora prof!, aired on Rai 1 from 2005 to 2017, in which he played Commissioner Gaetano Berardi alongside Veronica Pivetti for seven seasons. In 2008 and 2009, he hosted Zecchino d'Oro, and in 2012, he participated in the second edition of Tale e quale show. With over 24 films and several TV series to his credit, Paolo Conticini remains one of the most beloved and recognizable actors in contemporary Italian television and cinema.
