The driver: George Russell

George Russell (King's Lynn, February 15, 1998) is one of the most talented Formula 1 drivers of his generation. 2017 GP3 Champion and 2018 FIA Formula 2 Champion (both on his first attempt) with ART Grand Prix, he joined Formula 1 in 2019 with Williams as a junior driver in the Mercedes program. After three difficult seasons at the back of the grid, on August 29, 2021, he achieved his historic first F1 podium with a second place at the Belgian Grand Prix – a race marked by heavy rain and completed only for two laps behind the safety car, which was nevertheless enough to record the result. From 2022, he has been racing for Mercedes alongside Lewis Hamilton (and Kimi Antonelli from 2025), securing his first F1 victory at the 2022 Brazilian Grand Prix.
