Luca Marchegiani (Ancona, February 22, 1966) is an Italian former goalkeeper who spent much of his career with Lazio, defending the Biancocelesti goal from 1993 to 2003 for a total of 243 appearances. With Lazio, he won one Scudetto, one Coppa Italia, one Supercoppa Italiana, and the 1998/1999 Cup Winners' Cup, the same season as this item. He still holds the club's unbeaten record, with 745 consecutive minutes without conceding a goal in Serie A, the eighth longest streak ever in the Italian championship tied with Gianluigi Buffon. Previously, he had played for Torino for five seasons. With the Italian national team, he participated in the 1994 USA World Cup, reaching the final against Brazil.
