The autographed photo of Fabio Capello carried in triumph by Milan

A keepsake celebrating one of the most successful periods in the history of European football. The color photograph shows Fabio Capello carried in triumph on the shoulders of his players, smiling, in a blue jacket and tie, with a red-and-black scarf in his hands, in front of a stand packed with celebrating fans. Around him, the Milan players celebrate shirtless or wearing the Lotto shirt with the Opel sponsor: an image that captures all the excitement of the 1995/96 Scudetto celebration, the last title won by Capello at the helm of the Rossoneri. Fabio Capello's original autograph is signed with a blue marker next to his figure, with a bold and clearly legible stroke. The 29.8 x 20.2 cm format is ideal for framing and display.

The protagonist: Fabio Capello

Fabio Capello (San Canzian d'Isonzo, June 18, 1946) is one of the most successful managers in the history of Italian football. As a midfielder, he played for Roma, Juventus, and Milan, as well as the national team. On the Rossoneri bench, from 1991 to 1996, he won four Scudetti, three Italian Super Cups, one UEFA Super Cup, and the 1993/94 Champions League, won in Athens with the famous 4-0 victory over Barcelona, while also setting the record of 58 consecutive matches without defeat in Serie A. He later won La Liga with Real Madrid and the 2000/01 Scudetto with Roma, before managing the national teams of England and Russia.

What is an original autographed photo?

An original autographed photo is an image on which the protagonist has personally signed by hand, with real ink and documented provenance. It is distinguished from reproductions with printed signatures by verifiable elements: the irregular and natural pressure of the stroke, the texture and reflections of the ink on the surface, and the spontaneity of the signature. Photos that capture a historic moment, such as a Scudetto celebration, are among the most sought after by collectors because they combine the value of the signature with that of the memory.
