Luciano Ligabue was born in Correggio, in the province of Reggio Emilia, on March 13, 1960. After starting as a disc jockey and writer, he debuted in music in 1990 with his self-titled album produced by Davide Ferrario. His career exploded in the nineties with albums such as Sopravvissuti e sopravviventi (1993), Buon compleanno Elvis (1995) and Su e giù da un palco (1997), which established him as one of the most authentic and beloved voices of Italian rock. Alongside music, he directed the films Radiofreccia (1998) and Da zero a dieci (2001), confirming himself as a well-rounded artist. In the 2000s, he achieved a series of successes in major Italian stadiums, becoming one of the few national artists capable of filling Campovolo in Reggio Emilia with hundreds of thousands of spectators.
