Career
Filippo Inzaghi grew up in the Piacenza youth academy and made his Serie A debut with Parma in 1995, where he played only one season before excelling at Atalanta in 1996-97 with 24 goals, winning the top scorer title in the Italian championship. In the summer of 1997, he moved to Juventus, where he won the 1997-98 Scudetto and reached the Champions League final that same year, losing to Real Madrid. In 2001, he moved to Milan, a club where he became a legend for twelve seasons. With the Rossoneri, he won two UEFA Champions Leagues (2002-03 and 2006-07), two Scudetti (2003-04 and 2010-11), one Coppa Italia, two Italian Supercups, one UEFA Supercup, and the 2007 FIFA Club World Cup. The Athens final against Liverpool, in which he scored both of Milan's winning goals, is memorable. With the Italian national team, he played 57 matches, scoring 25 goals, participating in three World Cups (1998, 2002, 2006), Euro 2000 (runner-up), and the 2006 World Cup victory in Germany.
