Career
Dino Zoff made his Serie A debut with Udinese and developed in the shadow of Albertosi, first at Mantova and then at Napoli, where he became a starter and earned a call-up to the national team. In 1972, he moved to Juventus and stayed for eleven seasons, never missing a league match. With the Bianconeri, he made 479 appearances, won six Scudetti, two Coppa Italia titles, and one UEFA Cup, and played in two European Cup finals. With the Italian national team, he was European champion in 1968 and reached the 1970 World Cup final.
1982 was the year of triumph: at 40 years old, as captain, he lifted the World Cup at the Santiago Bernabéu after Italy's victory over West Germany. He accumulated 112 national team appearances and holds the world record for unbeaten minutes (1,142 consecutive minutes without conceding a goal). After retiring, he embarked on a coaching career, leading Juventus, Lazio, and the Italian national team, taking the Azzurri to the Euro 2000 final.
