Career
Frattesi's football career began in the Roma youth sector, where he won the Coppa Italia Primavera and Supercoppa Primavera, and grew up alongside Kevin Strootman and Daniele De Rossi. In 2017, he moved to Sassuolo, who loaned him to Ascoli and Empoli in Serie B to help him develop. In the 2020/21 season, he played for Monza, scoring 8 goals in 39 matches. From the summer of 2021, he joined Sassuolo's first team, where he established himself as one of the most promising Italian midfielders thanks to his ability to make runs into the box and score.
In July 2023, he transferred to Inter on a loan deal with an obligation to buy, making the move permanent in 2024. With the Nerazzurri, he won the 2023/24 Scudetto and the Supercoppa Italiana, also scoring crucial goals in the Champions League: the decisive goal against Bayern Munich in the quarterfinals and the 4-3 in the semi-finals against Barcelona, which took Inter to the competition's final.
