Career
Claudio Marchisio grew up in the Juventus youth academy, a club he supported since childhood. He made his first-team debut in 2006-2007, contributing to the immediate promotion after relegation to Serie B. After a season on loan at Empoli, he returned to Turin and became a pillar of the Bianconeri midfield, winning seven consecutive Scudetti from 2011-12 to 2017-18 — an absolute record in Italian football. With Juventus, he also played in the 2014-15 Champions League final, lost against Messi's Barcelona. In August 2018, he left Turin after 389 appearances and 37 goals to join Zenit Saint Petersburg, with whom he won the Russian championship in 2018-19 before retiring in 2019. With the Italian national team, he made 55 appearances and scored 5 goals, participating in the 2010 and 2014 World Cups and the 2012 European Championship, where Italy reached the final, lost against Casillas's Spain.
Why collect a Claudio Marchisio autograph
Collecting an original Claudio Marchisio autograph means preserving a fragment of the most successful Bianconeri cycle in history. "Il Principino" (The Little Prince) was the last great representative of the Juventus tradition of Turin-born midfielders raised in the academy, a symbol of loyalty and attachment to the colors in a footballing era increasingly devoid of one-club men. His total identification with Juventus — a club he openly supports — makes his autographs particularly significant for the Bianconeri public. The most sought-after types are Juventus jerseys from the seven consecutive Scudetti, particularly those from the 2015 Champions League final, and Azzurri national team jerseys from the 2010, 2014 World Cups and the 2012 European Championship. Autographs on photos of iconic plays and memorabilia related to Zenit Saint Petersburg, the last stage of his career, are also appreciated.
