Career
Annalisa Scarrone was born in Savona on August 5, 1985, and approached music at a very young age, passing through two local bands before emerging in 2010 in the tenth edition of Amici di Maria De Filippi, where she won the Journalism Critics' Award – a recognition that would be confirmed the following year in the Big category. Her solo debut came in 2011 with the album Nali, preceded by the single Diamante lei e luce lui. In subsequent years, she consolidated her presence in the Italian pop scene with albums such as Mentre tutto cambia (2013), Splende (2015), Se avessi un cuore (2016), and Bye Bye (2018), and became a recurring presence at the Sanremo Festival, where she first reached the podium in 2018 with Il mondo prima di te (third place).
The turning point came in September 2022 with the single Bellissima, which marked the beginning of a new course: the song remained on the FIMI chart for 52 consecutive weeks, an unprecedented record for an Italian solo artist. In 2023, with Mon Amour, she achieved her first solo number one on the FIMI Top Singles chart, while her eighth album E poi siamo finiti nel vortice debuted at number one on the album chart. 2024 is the year of international consecration: at Sanremo, she ranked third with Sinceramente – a song that became the fastest female single to reach double platinum and debuted on the Billboard Global 200, the first Italian singer in the chart's top 100 – and at the Billboard Women in Music in Los Angeles, she received the Global Force Award, the first such recognition for an Italian artist. In May 2024, she sold out two Verona Arenas with the Tutti nel vortice tour (over 200,000 tickets in total), while 2025 sees her as a guest at Sanremo with Giorgia, and in October of the same year, she releases her ninth album Ma io sono fuoco, preceded by the singles Maschio and Piazza San Marco, in collaboration with Marco Mengoni. The Ma noi siamo fuoco – Capitolo II tour began on April 23, 2026, in Italian sports arenas.
