Andrey Rublev

Andrey Andreyevich Rublev (Moscow, October 20, 1997) is a Russian tennis player, considered one of the best players of his generation and among the fiercest competitors on the ATP Tour. He reached a career-high ranking of world No. 5 in September 2021 and has won 17 ATP singles titles, including the prestigious Monte Carlo Masters 2023 and Madrid Masters 2024. He has reached the quarterfinals at all four Grand Slam tournaments and is known for his devastating forehand, fiery temperament, and his signature fist pump after decisive points.

The Career

Andrey Andreyevich Rublev was born in Moscow on October 20, 1997, the son of Marina Marenko, a former women's tennis coach in Moscow. He began playing tennis at the age of five under his mother's guidance at the Spartak Tennis Academy. As a junior, he quickly made his mark: in 2014, he won the Roland Garros junior title and reached number 1 in the world junior rankings. He turned professional the same year. In 2017, at just 19 years old, he reached the quarterfinals of the US Open, becoming the youngest quarterfinalist at the New York Grand Slam since Andy Roddick. The real breakthrough came in 2020: he won five ATP titles that year, including Doha, Adelaide, Hamburg, St. Petersburg, and Vienna, and reached the quarterfinals in two seasonal Grand Slams for the first time (Roland Garros and US Open). In September 2021, he achieved his career-high ranking of fifth in the ATP. In the same year, he won Olympic gold in mixed doubles at Tokyo 2020 with Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, the first Olympic title for Russian tennis since 2008. Between 2022 and 2024, he consolidated his position in the world top 10: he won four titles in 2022 (Dubai, Marseille, Belgrade, Gijón), claimed his first career Masters 1000 title at Monte Carlo 2023, and followed it up with Madrid 2024. In February 2025, he won his seventeenth career ATP title in Doha, saving a match point in the semifinals against Alex de Minaur. In 2025, he began a collaboration with Marat Safin as a second coach, alongside his long-time coach Fernando Vicente. After a back injury that kept him off the circuit for eight months, he returned to the final of the Barcelona Open 2026, where he was defeated by Arthur Fils. He has earned over 33 million dollars in career prize money and is famous for his charitable initiatives through the Rublo program, launched with his sister in 2020.

Why collect an Andrey Rublev autograph

An original Andrey Rublev autograph is one of the most sought-after pieces in contemporary tennis collecting and for the entire post-Big Three generation. Rublev is considered one of the most charismatic and combative players on the ATP circuit, with 17 singles titles and two Masters 1000 victories (Monte Carlo 2023 and Madrid 2024), in addition to Olympic gold in mixed doubles at Tokyo 2020. His signature is particularly valuable on professional Head Gravity Pro rackets, iconic post-victory clenched-fist photographs, posters from tournaments won, and memorabilia related to Masters 1000 and ATP 500 finals. The collectible value is further supported by his career-high ranking of number 5 ATP in September 2021, his popularity on the tennis circuit, and the generous character of the player—famous for his frequent charitable gestures through the Rublo program launched with his sister in 2020—which makes him one of the most beloved figures in contemporary men's tennis.
