Roberto Donadoni (Cisano Bergamasco, September 9, 1963) is one of the strongest and most complete midfielders in the history of Italian football. A winger with superb technical quality, for a decade he was the creative engine of Arrigo Sacchi and Fabio Capello's great Milan, winning three European Cups, three Intercontinental Cups, six Scudetti (Serie A titles), and two UEFA Super Cups. With the Italian National Team, he reached the final of the 1994 USA World Cup, also remembered for his penalty kick in the semi-final against Bulgaria. After his playing career, he became the national team coach between Lippi's two mandates, leading the Azzurri to Euro 2008. The number 11 is the number with which Donadoni wrote indelible pages in Milan's history — and which he personally autographed here, transforming this artwork into a historical document of Italian football.
