The artist: Carl Cox

Carl Andrew Cox OBE (Oldham, July 29, 1962) is one of the most influential DJs and producers in the history of global house and techno music. Raised in the southern suburbs of London, before establishing himself at the decks, he worked as a construction worker and shelf stocker, building his career from the British rave and acid house circuit of the late eighties, including the legendary Future and Shoom clubs. Renowned as the "Three Deck Wizard" for his ability to mix simultaneously on three turntables, Carl Cox was for sixteen years the voice and face of the historic "Music is Revolution" residency at Space in Ibiza, between 2001 and 2016. Founder of the label Intec Digital and more recently Awesome Soundwave, he told his story in the book "Oh Yes, Oh Yes!", which has become a cult object for collectors around the world.

Authenticity of the autograph: a production guarantee

Unlike autographs collected individually and certified by third-party entities such as PSA, JSA, or Beckett, the signature on this book is an integral part of the limited edition's production process: each of the 1000 copies was personally signed and numbered by Carl Cox during production, under the direct supervision of the publisher White Rabbit (Hachette). No additional certificate of authenticity is therefore necessary: the guarantee of the autograph is intrinsic to the product itself, officially declared by the publishing house at the time of the edition's launch.

What is a production-autographed book?

A production-autographed book is an editorial format in which the author personally signs each copy during manufacturing, unlike classic autographs applied at a later time to an already printed specimen. Each copy is also individually numbered within the print run, making each piece unique and unrepeatable. This format, common among publishers specializing in artist and musician memoirs, ensures a level of intrinsic authenticity particularly appreciated by collectors, as it eliminates any doubt regarding the origin of the signature.
