Nancy Brilli, born Nicoletta Brilli, was born in Rome on April 10, 1964. Discovered by director Pasquale Squitieri, she debuted in 1984 in the film Claretta alongside Claudia Cardinale. In 1988, Carlo Verdone chose her for Compagni di scuola, a role that made her popular with the general public, while in 1990 she won the David di Donatello and the Nastro d'Argento as best supporting actress for Piccoli equivoci. Also active in theater alongside Enrico Montesano and on television, she achieved great popular success with the series Il bello delle donne (2001-2003) alongside Stefania Sandrelli. In subsequent years, she participated in numerous successful comedies, including Ex by Fausto Brizzi and Maschi contro Femmine. In 2024, she received the Lifetime Achievement Award during the Venice International Film Festival, crowning forty years of artistic activity in cinema, theater, and television.
