The champion: Ivano Bordon

Ivano Bordon (Marghera, April 13, 1951), nicknamed "Pallottola" (Bullet) by Sandro Mazzola for his extraordinary reflexes, is one of the greatest goalkeepers in Inter's history. Coming up through the Nerazzurri youth ranks, he defended Inter's goal from 1970 to 1983, making almost four hundred appearances and winning two Scudetti and two Coppa Italia titles. In the 1979-80 season, he set the club's historic unbeaten record, remaining impenetrable for 686 minutes. With the Italian national team, he was a world champion in 1982 in Spain, as Dino Zoff's second goalkeeper. After his time at Inter, he played for Sampdoria, with whom he won another Coppa Italia, Sanremese, and Brescia. As a goalkeeping coach, he won a second World Cup in 2006 with Lippi's staff, the only Italian to triumph twice. In 2022, he was inducted into the Inter Hall of Fame.
