Herbert Ballerina is the stage name of Luigi Luciano, born in Campobasso on March 7, 1980. After graduating from DAMS in Bologna, he moved to Milan, joining Marcello Macchia's Shortcut Productions, also known as Maccio Capatonda. Together they created numerous humorous trailers broadcast on Gialappa's Band programs such as Mai dire Lunedì and Mai dire Martedì, a format that brought Ballerina widespread popularity. He made his cinematic debut in 2011 in Gennaro Nunziante's Che bella giornata, alongside Checco Zalone, and then continued with numerous Italian comedic films. An artistic journey that has made him one of the most recognizable voices in contemporary Italian comedy.
