Giovanni Cacioppo (Gela, April 2, 1965) is an Italian comedian, stand-up comedian, and actor. A graduate surveyor, he began his career in entertainment in 1994, coming second in the Zanzara d'oro competition in Bologna with the comedic monologue Acqua e selz. From that moment, he participated in numerous successful television programs, including Maurizio Costanzo Show, Zelig, Mai dire lunedì, Mai dire Martedì, Che tempo che fa and Colorado Cafè. In cinema, he acted alongside the comedy trio Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo in Così è la vita (1998) and La leggenda di Al, John e Jack (2002), as well as collaborating with Massimo Ceccherini in Lucignolo (1999) and Tutti all'attacco (2005). In 2018, he joined the cast of Una festa esagerata by Vincenzo Salemme, confirming himself as one of the most recognizable and long-standing faces of Italian television and film comedy.
