Dario Brunori, artistically known as Brunori Sas, was born in Cosenza on September 28, 1977. Graduating in Economics and Commerce from the University of Siena, he chose his stage name as a tribute to his family's construction company, Brunori S.A.S., which financed his first recordings. He debuted as a solo artist in 2009 with Vol. 1, winning the Premio Ciampi for best debut album and the Targa Tenco for best newcomer. In subsequent years, he released highly successful albums such as A casa tutto bene (2017), a gold record, and Cip! (2020), which topped the FIMI charts, winning a total of two Targa Tenco awards. Also a soundtrack composer, he wrote the music for Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo's films Odio l'estate and Il grande giorno, winning the Nastro d'Argento. In 2025, he will debut for the first time in competition at the Sanremo Festival with L'albero delle noci, confirming himself as one of the most authentic and appreciated voices in contemporary Italian singer-songwriter music.
