The autographed photo of Luca Marchegiani with the 1998 Italian Super Cup

A keepsake that celebrates the beginning of the most successful era in Lazio's history. The color photograph shows Luca Marchegiani, smiling in his goalkeeper kit with the Cirio sponsor, as he raises the Italian Super Cup to the sky, won on August 29, 1998, at the Stadio delle Alpi in Turin with a 2-1 victory over Juventus. Around him, his Biancocelesti teammates celebrate under the floodlights, including number 11 Siniša Mihajlović. It was the first trophy of an extraordinary European season, which culminated in winning the 1999 European Cup Winners' Cup. Luca Marchegiani's original autograph is signed with a black marker on the lower part of the jersey, with a bold and clearly legible stroke. The 20.2 x 15.1 cm format is ideal for framing.

What is an original autographed photo?

An original autographed photo is an image on which the player has personally signed with real ink and documented provenance. It can be distinguished from reproductions with printed signatures by verifiable elements: the irregular and natural pressure of the stroke, the texture and reflections of the ink on the surface, and the spontaneity of the signature. Photos capturing a trophy raised to the sky are among the most sought after by collectors, as they combine the value of the signature with the memory of a historic victory.
