The player: Nikola Lazetic

Nikola Lazetić (Kosovska Mitrovica, February 9, 1978) is a former Serbian midfielder who had a long career in Italian football between Serie A and Serie B. He grew up playing football in Serbia with Red Star Belgrade, arriving in Italy in 2002, making appearances for Chievo Verona, Lazio, Siena, Genoa, and Livorno, before joining Torino in January 2006. With the "granata" club, he experienced the most significant period of his Italian career: he contributed to promotion to Serie A in the 2005/06 season, remained with Torino for two consecutive seasons in the top flight, and in the 2007/08 season - the one this shirt is from - he made 15 appearances with the number 11. His name is also linked today to the Lazetić football family: his nephew Marko, a center-forward born in 2004, grew up at Red Star before moving to AC Milan in 2022, making the Lazetićs one of the most famous football families in contemporary Serbian football.
