The Italian National Team home shirt from the 1999/2000 season in its Player Issued version is a rare and fascinating relic of Italian football at the turn of the millennium. Made by Kappa in the prestigious GARA — Official Pro Equipment line reserved for team supply, in a long-sleeved version, it features the classic intense blue, a high mock neck, three golden stars above the tricolor FIGC crest, and the embroidered Kappa logo on the chest. The front is personalized with the white number 10. This shirt can be traced back to the Italy-Sweden friendly match played in Palermo in February 2000, and was subsequently signed in March of the same year. This size L example is preserved in Excellent condition. On the back, next to the number, there is a large original autograph of Stefano Fiore in black marker, accompanied by a personalized dedication, clear and perfectly legible.

The Player: Stefano Fiore

Stefano Fiore (Cosenza, April 17, 1975) is an Italian attacking midfielder who was a prominent figure in Italian football in the early 2000s. Gifted with great vision and an excellent long-range shot, he grew up between Cosenza and Parma, where he won a UEFA Cup and an Italian Cup, before establishing himself at Udinese in the 1999/2000 season with nine goals. These performances earned him a call-up to the National Team, where he debuted in February 2000 against Sweden. He was then a major player at Euro 2000 under coach Dino Zoff, scoring a goal against Belgium and starting all matches up to the final lost against France. He subsequently played for Lazio — with whom he won the 2004 Italian Cup — Valencia, Fiorentina, and Torino, collecting over thirty caps and two goals for the Azzurri.
