The player: Massimiliano Fusani

Massimiliano Fusani (Aosta, July 17, 1979) is an Italian midfielder who came up through Inter's youth academy and spent over a decade in professional football between Serie A and Serie B. After starting his career at Brescello and Perugia—where he made 52 Serie A appearances with 3 goals—and a stint at Chievo Verona, in January 2006 he signed with Bari, where he remained until summer 2007. With the Galletti's white and red jersey, he played one and a half seasons in the cadetti, bringing experience and quality to the Apulian midfield. After Bari, he continued his career at Sassuolo and then in the amateur leagues of Emilia. His player-issued number 20 jersey is direct proof of his time with the Apulian team in one of the Serie B championships of the 2000s.
