Maicon Douglas Sisenando (Novo Hamburgo, July 26, 1981) is a former Brazilian right-back considered one of the strongest of all time in his role. Nicknamed "The Colossus" for his physical power combined with refined technique, he wrote indelible pages in Inter's history from 2006 to 2012, accumulating 248 appearances, 20 goals, and 50 assists. With the Nerazzurri, he won four consecutive Scudetti, two Coppa Italia, three Italian Supercups, one Champions League, and one Club World Cup, culminating in the historic TREBLE in 2009/10 under the guidance of José Mourinho. Unforgettable was his goal against Barcelona in the 2010 Champions League semi-final, and his volley against Juventus after a sombrero over Camoranesi. With Brazil, he played in the 2010 (included in the FIFA Ideal Team) and 2014 World Cups, winning two Copa América and two Confederations Cups. Voted best Brazilian in Europe in 2010, in 2022 he entered Inter's Hall of Fame.
