What is an original autographed poster?

An original autographed poster is official promotional material for a film on which the artist applies their original signature, without intermediaries or mechanical reproductions. It is recognized by verifiable elements such as the irregular pressure of the stroke, the three-dimensionality of the ink on the glossy paper, and the spontaneity of the graphic gesture, elements absent in printed signatures or facsimiles. Added to this is the MTM Letter of Authenticity (LOA), issued free of charge, with the option of a third-party COA for internationally recognized protection. The value of an autographed poster grows over time in relation to the popularity of the film and the artistic relevance of the signatory, an aspect particularly significant for official character posters linked to highly successful productions like Diabolik.
