Autographed Jon Voight Photo: Paul Serone in Anaconda with original movie quote

A highly collectible autographed photo dedicated to Jon Voight, Hollywood legend and Oscar winner, as the villain Paul Serone in Anaconda (1997). The black and white shot portrays the actor on the Amazon River during a scene from the film, with snake hunter gear and a river sunset in the background. An extraordinarily rare piece due to the complete inscription in black marker: the handwritten quote "Anacondas are a killing machine!" (Paul Serone's famous line in the film), the character's name "(Paul Serone)" and the signature "Jon Voight". Three elements that make this relic significantly more valuable than a simple signature. Format 25.5x20 cm, Excellent condition. A must-have for premium American cinema collectors.

The Actor: Jon Voight

Jonathan Vincent Voight (Yonkers, New York, December 29, 1938) is one of the living legends of American cinema. Trained at the Catholic University of America and then at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York with Sanford Meisner, he debuted on Broadway before establishing himself in Hollywood. Worldwide recognition came with John Schlesinger's Midnight Cowboy (1969) alongside Dustin Hoffman, in the role of gigolo Joe Buck, which earned him the first of his four Oscar nominations. The Academy award came ten years later for Hal Ashby's Coming Home (1978), portraying the paraplegic Vietnam veteran Luke Martin, which earned him the Oscar for Best Actor, the Palme d'Or at Cannes, and the Golden Globe. His masterpieces include: Deliverance (1972), Runaway Train (1985), Heat (1995), Mission: Impossible (1996), Anaconda (1997), Enemy of the State (1998), Pearl Harbor (2001), Ali (2001 - fourth Oscar nomination) and Lara Croft Tomb Raider (2001) alongside his daughter Angelina Jolie. From 2013 to 2020, he played Mickey Donovan in Ray Donovan, winning another Golden Globe in 2014.

What is an autographed photo with an original inscription?

An autographed photograph with an inscription is a particularly high-value cinematic relic, where the actor not only signs but also adds an iconic quote from the character portrayed. This practice, common only among great actors during restricted events, elevates the collectible value because it documents the actor's authentic interpretative performance. Jon Voight's signatures are sought after due to his stature as an Oscar-winning Hollywood legend.
