Giampaolo Pazzini (Pescia, August 2, 1984), nicknamed "il Pazzo" (The Madman), is one of the most representative Italian strikers of the last twenty years in Serie A. Developed in Atalanta's youth academy, he has worn the jerseys of Fiorentina, Sampdoria, Inter, Milan, and Hellas Verona, scoring 115 goals in 383 appearances in Italy's top league. With the National team, he participated in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa and contributed to qualification for Euro 2012, scoring 4 goals in 25 appearances for the Azzurri.
