Andreas Brehme (Hamburg, November 9, 1960 – February 20, 2024) was one of the strongest and most complete full-backs in the history of world football. With the German national team, he won the 1990 World Cup in Italy, scoring the decisive penalty in the final against Argentina that awarded the World Cup to West Germany — one of the most famous penalties in football history. Among clubs, he played for Bayern Munich, with whom he won a German championship in 1987, and for Inter, where under the guidance of Giovanni Trapattoni he won the 1989 Scudetto and the 1991 UEFA Cup. His passing in February 2024 has made this autograph signed by Brehme during his lifetime an invaluable historical document, destined to grow in value over time as a direct testimony to one of the greatest champions of European football.
